This year, the world-famous Christmas carol "Silent Night, Holy Night" celebrates a memorable anniversary: it was first performed 200 years ago in Oberndorf near Salzburg. The menu is based on extensive research into the historical source. The individual dishes were gleaned, with academic support, from historical shopping lists, diary entries and chronicles - all ingredients were eaten or bought by one of the two gentlemen at that time.
